Fine. Nov 24, 2009 My initial reaction after reading the great reviews about this watch and then getting it in the mail was disappointment. I am accustomed to much bulker and heavier watches so this one seemed kind of gimmicky at first. Well I kept it and have grown to appreciate the thin profile and incredibly easy to read dial. I anticipate I will have to replace the band at some point, it really is pretty thin. Had I paid a penny more for this watch it would have been a waste of money, but at this price I am thoroughly enjoying my purchase.
Simple but reliable Nov 17, 2009 The design is simple, but it's very thin and light. Good for going to gym or outdoor. And like all other Casio watches I had before, it's reliable.
Simple Design, Excellent Price May 20, 2009 This watch is an excellent deal. Durable plastic casing with stainless steel back and reliable "buckle" wristband. Watch is comfortable and lightweight.
The display is very clear and visible, even in low light. Numbers are 8pt Helvetica Bold (in case you were wondering). The simple design makes it extremely easy to tell the time with a quick glance. No distractions from extra dials and numbers.
I've owned this watch for over six months now, and it is still going strong. There are some minor scratches, but the high contrast display is still exceptionally visible. It's nice to not have to worry about protecting an overly expensive watch from the hazards of daily life. Of all the watches I've owned, this is the only one where people have actually said, "I like your watch." I highly recommend this watch to anyone who just needs to know the time. Isn't that why you're buying a watch anyway?

I'm glad I got this one Nov 19, 2008 This is a very nice watch. It does its job and is easy to read (and cheap).
I was trying to decide between this model, the similar-looking Casio MQ24-1B (black), and the MQ24-7E (white, without numerals). I thought the other two might look a little bit nicer, but I eventually decided on this product, the MQ24-7B, because I thought it would probably be more readable than either of the others, and that is the most important thing.
Before this, I had almost always used a digital watch, but I'm quite happy with this one. I have to get used to remembering what day of the month it is instead of checking my watch, and I can't set alarms anymore, but that's not a big problem. If I hold it within about a foot of my ear, I can hear it softly ticking, but otherwise it seems to be silent.
Yes, the band will probably break long before the watch stops working.
Does the job! Oct 08, 2008 This little watch does everything I would expect it to, and it looks pretty good to boot.
